“EmployAble ME!” by Erasmus+ programme

Youth unemployment is getting more and more alarming in Europe. To traditional institutional factors that are the educational system offer and labour market demand now joins the necessity of young people’s participation and motivation in non-formal education activities and competitive personal and social qualities development. Young people who lack self-esteem and confidence may fail to convey their message effectively or fully utilize their skills and abilities because of the way they present themselves. In these terms equipping young people with soft skills and empower their personal development is of crucial importance.


YE EmployAble ME! which wants to gather youngsters from Romania and Armenia as we believe bringing together youngsters from both countries and exchanging experiences is highly beneficial for all parties.
The aim of the proposed project is to equip young people with soft skills for enhancing employability and competitiveness in labour market. During the project there will be a space and conditions, where participants will go through the process of personal development, will gain skills and tools of self-branding and self-presentation, effective communication, and storytelling which they can apply afterwards while entering to labour market or further career development.
There will be a space and conditions to go through the process of self-discovery and personal development, where you can re-evaluate and self-reflect on certain topics, identify new possibilities and develop useful personal and social skills.
During this youth exchange there will be used various non-formal learning methods with learner-based participatory principles where gained experience you can apply in your everyday life.

➢ To develop participants self-presentation and effective communication skills to increase their chances in labour market
➢ To equip participants with self-empowerment and initiative development competencies as a tool for combating youth unemployment
➢ To provide participants with the tools to use Youthpass and Key Competencies for self-assessment of their abilities and achievements to further enhance their competitiveness in labour market
➢ To develop at least 2 follow-up projects for 2020 among participating organizations on enhancing employability and preventing youth unemployment
